The product is received at the exit of the freezing tunnel (2 freezing tunnels) and transported by belts to the dosing system and two multi-head weighers supply automatically the product in the required doses for each package format.

CASE ERECTORS AND PACKERS
The installation has two lines made up of box formers, drop-down cell that fills the boxes with the chicken cut-ups bags and automatic box sealer by means of adhesive tape.
Finally, the anthropomorphic robot is responsible for palletising the boxes on pallets that are wrapped with shrink film and are ready for shipment.

The new Open & Close and Push & Tear of theEasy Open solutions created by Giro net packing machine manufacturer offer an easy opening of the package. These new and innovative solutions can be produced with a GirBagger machine and GirBagger Speed Line.
Open & Close
First, we find the first Easy Open system that Giró developed called Open & Close. As the name implies, this system allows the bag to be opened and closed multiple times thanks to an adhesive label applied on the predie cut window. Once part of the content has been removed, the label can be closed again keeping the content inside the bag.
In addition, this container can be used for a second use, such as compacting single-use plastic bags to take them to the recycling container. This second use can save a lot of waste space in the home. Another advantage is that once used, it can be rolled up on itself and glued with the label to compact it before recycling it.
Push & Tear
On the other hand, we find the Push & Tear system, which makes the same vertical cut in the net, but uses a film with a different pre-die cut design. The pre-die cut on the Push & Tear is formed by a circle and a vertical line so that the consumer can access the content just by pressing the circle with the finder and tearing the vertical die-cut down.
This die without label (and therefore, once opened can no longer be closed), supports the structure of the package without the need for added labels, so that we obtain a fully functional package, with an Easy Open System and sustainable as an usual net package.

Modularity and excellent price/quality ratios are the main features characterising the manual, semiautomatic and fully automatic sealers of the Smipack FP series shrink wrapping machine. All the shrink wrap FP models can indeed be supplied with or without shrink tunnel.

This actual case study shows how to cope with a high demanding project for handling a wide range of fruit and vegetable such as avocados, oranges, lemons, grapefruit and limes through a single line.
This full-line solution showcases Giró’s complete offer outside grading and palletising.
Amongst other requests, the customer was expecting a high degree of versatility and productivity rates in order to accommodate his business demands. The line had to enable fruit inspection, weighing, counting and bagging in different styles such as Ultrabag, Girsac and Clip2Clip. On top of those requirements, strict quality assurance protocols from market retailers, compelled to add check weighing devices as well as automatic boxing at the end of the line.
In order to fulfil those requirements Giró is to afford a comprehensive line including: PDC500 buffer integrated with an inspection table, dynamic weigher PDG4L, three GirBaggers UB-60 with a thermal transfer printer, one clipper CA-10, two standalone checkweighers, one automatic box filling system GBF-100 with a de-stacker and box rejection system.
The whole system is to achieve an output of 7,200 kg/hour circa and had to fit in a 86 sqm corner in the packing shed.

Masterplat Plus LP is a turntable wrapping machine for wrapping products with stretch film in vertical. The operator can access from every side and load the machine with hand pallet truck via the suitable ramp or using a forklift truck.

The FRD film carriage with Mechanical Brake is manually adjusted and has an indicator to show the tension setting. There is also a tension on/off lever to allow film to be released for attaching to the pallet without altering the film tension. This system allows tension to be constant and not effected by the size of the film reel.
The PGS film carriage is fixed gear 250% power pre-stretch and the force to load (tension) is controlled by a strain gauge, adjusted on the control panel. There are also options of 150%, 200% and 300% gears on this machine.
